201: Finally: A Better Way to Thrift Plus-Size Fashion That Fits with Becca
“Anew is not a shop; it's a community. The genuine personal relationships that I have with so many of my customers is why I do this.”
Becca is a mama to a beautiful 4-year-old. She is a model, social media manager for a mental health brand, and an entrepreneur. And she loves secondhand over new any day! She has been avidly thrifting since she was a teen but got more serious when she had her daughter in 2020.
Becca created Anew Collective as a plus sized woman who struggled to find cute clothing in her size. She has left many thrift stores, markets, shops countless times empty handed and disappointed. She says: “After a while it makes you feel like something is wrong with you… when it simply isn’t.” She slowly started finding joy in sourcing items not just for herself, but for others too. If she can spread the love and joy of inclusive secondhand clothing - why not?! That’s where Anew was born.
