214: How This Viral Thrift Artist Made Silly Clothes a Serious Business, feat. Brittany
“I want color! I want silly! Everyone should wear what makes them happy!”
Creativity and sustainability are Brittany’s biggest passions! She has been creating and thrifting as long as she can remember. Whether it was building tiny ant houses in her backyard, or shopping at the mission with her mom. Brittany began her sewing journey back in elementary school. She used to hand sew themed costumes for her Barbies, whether she pretended they were in the World of the Last Airbender or Red Riding Hood! She took a long break and hopped back into it in high school and college. Being able to express yourself without the fear of other’s opinion’s is so important to her! So, wear what makes you HAPPY (@riskthrift)!
