As the inaugural Senior Manager for Op Shops at Uniting Vic Tas, Victoria’s largest social services agency, Jacob is a key figure in the industry. They established and chaired the national op shop networks for UnitingCare Australia and Lifeline Australia, demonstrating their commitment to fostering collaboration and innovation within the sector.

Jacob believes the secret to a successful Op Shop lies in community, creativity, innovative thinking, and celebrating uniqueness. These elements are at the heart of their leadership style, which is guided by the core values of Leadership, Community, Innovation, Pride, and Equity.

Holding a Bachelor of Theology and qualifications in volunteerism, education, governance, and management, Jacob’s academic background complements their practical experience.
