Debbie Gale Mitchell is an associate teaching professor in the department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Denver. She has worked as a spectroscopist for the last two decades and has published more than 20 peer-reviewed publications in the field of spectroscopy. As a chemistry professor, Debbie is committed to Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to makes her courses accessible. She teaches general chemistry, environmental chemistry, inorganic chemistry, and chemistry + art. She is also an avid thrifter, supporter of sustainable and slow fashion, and collects vintage romance novels at arc!
